So, when this college student received a text from his mom warning him about her wild partying days being featured in a documentary, he was understandably shocked. It’s like finding out your mom was the queen of the disco scene while you were still crawling around in diapers.
He received a text along with his siblings, which read, “Dear kids, I just wanna let you all know I will be on the Hulu documentary Freaknik. You don’t have to defend my behavior, that was before I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Sincerely, your mom. Miss shake-what-your-mama-gave-you herself.”
When this TikToker received the text from his mom, he was convinced it was some kind of twisted joke. To him, this was the same mom who insisted on playing gospel music during car rides and reciting Bible verses at dinner.
He couldn’t imagine her as a wild party animal! But lo and behold, his mom was apparently the life of the party back in the day. And just to prove it, she even sent some incriminating photos from her festival days.
Let’s just say, it’s not every day you see your mom twerking in a sea of people wearing neon spandex. It’s a shock to the system, but also kind of amazing.
