Bullet Train
Bullet Train is an upcoming film based on the novel Maria Beetle by Kōtarō Isaka. The film will star an incredible ensemble cast with amazing stars like Brad Pitt, Joey King, Sandra Bullock, and Bad Bunny. It is going to be a dark, satirical thriller, just like the book by Kōtarō. The film premieres in the United States in early July of 2022.
Ms. Marvel
Ms. Marvel is something that almost everyone is excitedly waiting for. The upcoming Marvel television miniseries based on the Marvel Comics will be released on Disney+ this year. The Ms. Marvel series is planned to be a part of the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe and will star Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel or “Kamala Khan,” the show’s main star.
Death on the Nile
Death on the Nile will be the sequel to the movie Murder on the Orient Express from 2017. The long-awaited mystery thriller references Agatha Christie’s 1937 novel with the same title. The film will also feature an incredible ensemble cast with reappearing stars like Branagh and Tom Bateman and other stars like Russell Brand, Gal Gadot, and Rose Leslie.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
The third installment in the Fantastic Beasts series, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, releases on April 8, 2022, in the United Kingdom. It will be the eleventh release overall in the whole Wizarding World franchise. The film also features a star-studded cast, including Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterston.
Deep Water
Deep Water is an upcoming film based on the 1957 novel of the same name by the author Patricia Highsmith. The movie was originally set to release in January of 2022 but has since been pushed back multiple times and might be released as a Hulu exclusive in the United States. Adrian Lyne will direct the psychological thriller and it will star Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas.
Daisy Jones & the Six
This miniseries is based on the 2019 best-selling novel by Taylor Jenkin Reid of the same name. The television series will follow a fictional rock band through the crazy music world of the 1970s. The story is going to be in a documentary style and will feature interviews from the band and all the wildness of the 70s!
Persuasion
Another film adaptation of a novel by the great author Jane Austen. Persuasion is a drama film with Carrie Cracknell as the director. It will feature a cast of Dakota Johnson as Anne Elliot and Henry Golding as Mr. Elliot.
The film will also feature stars like Suki Waterhouse, Richard E. Grant, and Cosmo Jarvis. For fans of this novel by Jane Austen, there is another project in the making of which the release date is still yet to be announced.
