Raising Their Children is a Priority
Most people already know that the Prince and his wife have a baby boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. You may or may not be aware of their announcement of expecting a second child later this year. Part of the reason for their decision to break from the Royal Family was so their children can grow up in a somewhat normal lifestyle, free from the scrutiny that comes with being part of Royalty.
Although they left the royal life behind them, they kept the salary associated with being the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Therefore, they do not need to worry about how they will support themselves and their growing family. It is said they split their time between Britain and North America. Harry and Meghan do still do everything within their power to support Her Majesty the Queen, England’s Queen Elizabeth.
Clarifying Their Position
Prince Harry has always sought to make it clear that, instead of stepping down from their Royal duties, he was only stepping back. As we previously mentioned, this young couple fully intends to stand behind the Monarchy, who of course, is their immediate family. They intend no disrespect to the Queen, nor his father, Prince Charles, nor his brother, Prince William. Prince Harry and his wife completely support their family and their homeland. They just have chosen to live an independent life for themselves and their children.
Their Desire to Build a Better World Reigns Supreme
As with any other young couple, the current state of affairs in the United States and around the world is a major concern of theirs. During 2021, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to move forward with their desire to help the world become better. In part, this effort will be through their new non-profit organization called Archewell.
Through Archewell, Harry and Meghan have formed partnerships with research-oriented groups and a few large tech companies. They also bestowed a tribute to both new and experienced mothers and encouraged other people to exhibit acts of compassion towards them.
